I am a Colorado resident with a deep concern for and passion for nature and travel.
My aim is to capture the natural beauty of the world around me, with minimal editing required. So, philosophically I aim to work with the lighting and shadows before me, and aesthetically I do not care for photography with great amounts of post-processing. Thus I do not utilize HDR.
All photographs on this site were taken with a Nikon D-80. A polarizing filter was used with many photographs prior to 2011, but beginning in 2011 filters are no longer being used. All photos have been taken using a Nikkor 12-24mm lens, or a Tamron 28-300mm lens. Images from 2011 onwards are shot in RAW.
